RESET

Cheryl Carleton

Hi Everyone,

My name is Cheryl Carleton.  I am very excited about the Reset Program. For more information on the RESET program or to order RESET. Click RESET button

I have been in the weight loss industry for 20 + years.  I worked at a health club for 14 years.  I was a certified personal trainer and weight loss coach.  I am dedicating my life to helping people that struggle with their weight, whether it be 10 lbs. or 100 lbs. + to lose.  This is my passion and my story.

I am now 50 years old and had struggled with my weight for most of my teen years and into my mid twenties. I tried every fad diet there was. I would lose weight then gain weight. I had at least 4 different sizes in my closet. I was pretty depressed. I never felt good on any of these fad diets and quite frankly I couldn’t wait to go back to my old eating habits. I was not learning the long, right way, of eating. I was always looking for that quick fix!! That’s why I would always gain my weight back. One day I mentally decided that I needed to reset my mind so I could reset my body.  I was done with these quick fixes. I decided it was time to educate myself and learn about eating healthier. I read a lot of books on nutrition and wellness. I started applying what I read and my body started to transform. I finally learned about what the proper ratios of carbohydrates, proteins and fats in my

diet meant. I learned about weight lifting and aerobics. I learned that I needed good vitamins. After about six months of these changes, I started getting my energy back and became lean and strong. I went from a size 14 to a size 4. I dropped FIVE sizes!! I decided to enter a amateur bodybuilding contest and did very well. Most people do not have a desire to go to this extreme. My point is, anyone can go from a sick, overweight, carb addict, and almost hopeless person to an energized, healthier, leaner person!

Three top reasons why fad diets fail

#1 Problem: Looking for that quick fix. Dieters often restrict their calories to a dangerous low. Then they turn to their regular eating habits. The weight starts coming back and at a faster rate!

Solution: It will take a lifestyle change. This is a process of the mind and body. You’ve got to want it and you have to think it first. Get educated on eating the low glycemic way.

#2 Problem: Spiking the blood sugars. Eating high glycemic foods can sabotage the best of plans. Spiking and dropping of blood sugars lead to more rapid return to feelings of hunger. This is why fad diets fail.

Solution: Find out about the carbohydrates that don’t spike your blood sugars. (Low Glycemic ones) We want the ones that enter our blood stream slowly. The more processed a food is, the more it spikes the blood sugars!

#3 Problem: Unbalanced Nutrition. High carbohydrates, low carbohydrates, high protein, low fat , low protein. All these crazy unbalanced diets. They don’t work for permanent

weight loss. They are a short term solution for a long term problem.

Solution: For optimal nutrition our bodies need a balanced variety of nutrients. The average person needs about 50% of their caloric intake coming from low glycemic carbs, 30% from lean cuts of protein and 20% from the good fats! This is another good reason why diets fail!

$85,000 is the average annual income for established, full-time USANA Associates. $23,300 is the average annual income for Associates who earn as little as one commission check a month. Total includes all earnings from the compensation plan, Leadership Bonus, and contests and incentives. Calculations based on earnings between February 2008 and January 2009. Figures should not be considered as guarantees or projections of actual earnings, which result only from consistent, successful sales efforts. To be considered in a rank's earnings, Associates must have earned checks at a median rank for at least 16 weeks. According to results from an in-house survey taken between 2004 and 2006, the primary reason 17% of USANA independent business owners join the company is to improve their financial future. 21% of that group earns a check at least once a month. Of those whose primary reason is to earn enough to replace a full-time income, 41% have been Associates for at least one year and 56% are full-time Gold Directors and above. The number of Gold Directors and above who have maxed at least 1 Business Center during the year equals less than 1% of all Associates. Those earning as little as one check a month equal approximately 3% of all Associates. The average annual income for all 158,934 USANA Associates, including those who are brand new or who are not actively building a business, is $618.55, with nearly one in three earning a check. To date, USANA has more than 130 Million Dollar Club members.
